Introducing the Vacation '04 Photos

Beginning 3 posts below you will see a bunch of photos from our family vacation out west in July. We went with Keri's family for a crazy 8 days or so. After spending one day and night each at the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, we spent a few days in the LA area and then a few days in San Diego. We had a lot of fun.

Above this post I will continue to post photos because, well, we like to take pictures.

Surf Meets Rocks

I thought this was just an interesting picture watching the surf roll into the rocks. I like it.

La Jolla has a lot of restaurants and shops. Some are high end but some are reasonable. As you can see they also have a nice park on the water above the beach. Here's a view down a street out to the water. Nice. 

Turns out we were at the Gliderport... something I've never seen before. These guys just ran off the cliff and up they went. You obviously have to take lessons and then you can jump for like $150. It's probably fun...

This is from the cliffs near La Jolla CA, a bit north of San Diego. The pictures just don't do it justice - it is amazing up there. Wish I had taken a picture of the sign warning about danger and unstable cliffs... oops.
